The original Liverpool Stadium

The Liverpoolecho.co.uk has a good article on both Liverpool Stadiums.

This first Liverpool Stadium was opened in July 1911 located at Pudsey Street off London Road. The Echo article notesit as being at the time, "revered as one of the great boxing arenas of the early 20th century."

It staged bouts every Thursday night until it was demolished to make way for the London Road Odeon in the 1930s.
