The St. Louis Cardinals have acquired right-handed reliever George Culver in exchange for minor-league infielder Dwain Anderson.
Culver, 29, has pitched in 19 games for the Dodgers this season, posting no record or saves but he does boast a 1.88 ERA.
In 28.2 innings, he has struck out 14 and posted a 1.01 WHIP.
Anderson, 25, has played seven games/four starts at the major league level this season during which he hit .125 with no homers and RBIs. He did score one run.
