1ST PLACE NEW YERBY FALLS TO BAR HARBOR... TIED WITH JACKSON FOR SUPREME LEAGUE LEAD
The top teams in the South Island Supreme League are bunched a little closer now... the New Yerby Yankees were beaten
by Bar Harbor, while Jackson, Meraux and Zebulon were victorious... the Yanks are now deadlocked on top of the standings
with the Jackalopes, both with 6-2 season records... the Tigers and Zips are just a game off the pace.
On the weekend scoreboard the Bar Harbor Acadians got the best of New Yerby 4-2... Jackson nicked the Delta Stars 5-4.
Meraux topped the Mystic Mariners 5-1... and Zebulon outscored the St. Dominic Saints 10-4.
