Honestly, that's fine with me too. Without them playing, it leveled the playing field for other teams. San Alejo won the division for the first time in 15 years, and Fairfax won their first division title due to Walter White and Yogi Berra not playing for Blue Lake. So it's good to get some different teams in the playoffs.
At the same time, I love watching dynasties develop and prosper, so there's that aspect of it too. Glasco finished at an astonishing 143-19, so it looks like the 1898 Pro Cup will be theirs. The only question may be who their opponent from the Tycobbian Union will be. If Glasco wins, it would be their 5th championship, which would be the most of an IPA team so far.
