But one wouldn't. You'd load that schedule, edit it in the game editor, and then resave it as a revised schedule file. I can't imagine it's easier to align or adjust when editing lines of saved code.
When I need a custom schedule that the game can't do (like the 50 team, two division one I did), I work it out in Excel with formulas tracking the number of times an opponent meets another, number of home/away, etc. and then return to the editor and go day by day and build it out and save the end result. It was a few nights of work but doable. I'm sorry I don't know an easier way. Here's hoping others do.
