In my save, I'm using Garrett Whitlock as my closer. I have only used his as my closer (4 seasons of play). His position is set to closer. I have his player strategy to force his use as closer.

However, in Player Development and Team Strength he is consistently considered a Starter.

He does have three strong pitches, but his stamina is 35 (2-80 scale).

Why is this the case?
