a one subleague, 20 team, 5 divisions schedule I made

As it says in the title: One subleague, 20 teams divided amongst 5 divisions.

Each team plays their 3 divisional rivals 8 times in total, in 4 series of 2 games. So that's 24 divisional games for each team.

Then each team plays every other non-divisional team (16 teams total) twice, in one series of 2 games. That's another 32 games.

For a total of 56 games, split evenly between 28 home games and 28 away games.

For non-divisional games, home and away games are not split evenly between the teams. As one example, team 16 travels to team 10 for all 2 games, thus team 16 never hosts team 10.

Break days are staggered between two and one day. If you force-start the league on Monday, 2 games are played on Monday and Tuesday (one series), followed by a break on Wednesday where no teams play. Then two games are played on Thursday and Friday (a second series), followed by a break on Saturday and Sunday where no teams play. Then games resume again the following Monday.

I think that covers the important bits.
