Forgot to include this info in the previous post, so I'll give it one of its own:
Congrats to Taj, who might have been our most consistent start in the season's first month.
Caminero was once a Top 100 prospect, ranking as high as #59 after the end of the 2022 season, but has stalled out at Bowling Green although he seems ready for a promotion to AA Montgomery. He now projects as a 50-55 rated hitter across the board and can play 1B, 2B or 3B so he could fill in as a bench player down the line.
Curet is an up-and-coming relief prospect who seems to be following the Colby White path, moving up a level each year and succeeding.
MLB Players of the Month:
Batter: NL-Bryce Harper (PHI), .338-8-24; AL-Mike Trout (LAA), .338-8-23. Harper also hit his 400th career homer.
Pitcher: NL-Deivi Garcia (ARI), 3-0, 0.66; AL-Jacob deGrom (NYY), 3-0, 1.15.
MLB News: The Padres, off to an 18-9 start, have lost superstar SS Fernando Tatis Jr. for 4 weeks with a knee sprain.
