Walkers news: April 24 -- Chicago 5, St. Louis 2

Chicago tallied two runs off St. Louis starting pitcher Kevin Hrdlicka in the second and third innings to take a 4-0 lead, and the G-Men rode that to a 5-2 win at Busch Stadium (2006).
The victory was the second of the three-game series for Chicago.
Ramiro Hernandez got things moving for the G-Men when he led off the top of the second with his second home run of the season.
Chicago added another after pitcher Lenyrn LaMoureaux singled with one out.
A walk to Chris Gibbs moved LaMoureaux to second.
Ryan West drove him in with a single.
Back-to-back one-out singles by Val Moreno and Ramiro Hernandez to lead off the third set things in motion for the G-Men.
Juan Gonzalez scored Moreno with a two-out single.
When Hernandez scored on LaMoureaux's second single of the game, Chicago led 4-0.
In addition to going 2 of 3 at the plate, LaMoureaux was impressive on the mound.
He pitched six innings, allowing one run on four hits. He struck out eight and walked three.
Mark Herman connected for an RBI single off LaMoureaux in the third.
The score now 4-1, the G-Men got that run back in the fifth on a RBI single from Chris Gibbs.
Xavier Wigfall replaced LaMoureaux to start the seventh.
Mark Waterson greeted Wigfall with a homer off his former teammate.
Wigfall completed the rest of the seventh without incident.
Adam Olmstead set St. Louis down in order in the eighth.
Chris Conway handled the ninth for his second save.
