3 PLAYOFF UNDERDOGS TAKE IPA ELITE 8 OPENERS
There is a lot of parity in the Islandian Pro Alliance postseason playoffs this year... top to bottom, number one to number eight, is very close talent-wise... all 8 teams in the Elite 8 are pretty even on the diamond... in the opening games 3 so-called underdogs prevailed... the only favorite to survive was the Sligo Rovers in the Ruthlandian Union, who put down the Valka Blackhawks 7-3 in game one of the best-of-seven series... the Marston Nine did what they do best, they got a masterful pitching performance and blanked the Ranford Bulls 2-0... in the Tycobbian Union Hartsdale skimmed past powerful Turon 7-5 in 10 innings and the Tuckanarra Tiger Cats roared past Rolling Hills 13-4.
