Walkers news: Sept. 22 -- Green Bay 4, St. Louis 1

Record: 70-85, 5th/(Tied/w. Los Angeles), 15 GB Cedar Rapids
Green Bay starting pitcher Jesse Mucci and three relievers combined to limit St. Louis to one run on three hits in a 4-1 loss at Busch Stadium (2006).
The setback was the eighth in nine games for the Walkers.
Mucci was impressive allowing one run on three hits over 6.1 innings. He struck out eight and walked one.
Andy Caruthers finished off the seventh for the Mallards.
Mushanokoji Okamura worked a scoreless eighth.
Matt Rodriguez earned his 36th save with a silent 10th.
Green Bay jumped in front in the top of the first.
Conrad Perry singled with one out off Billy Ables.
He stole second and scored on a two-out single by Austin Clayton.
The rest of the Mallards runs came in the fifth with Ables still on the mound.
Devon Reyna led off with a single and scored on a double by Perry.
After a walk loaded the bases, Savion McMullan drove in two of the base runners with a double.
The lone run for the Walkers came in the bottom of the fifth.
Nick Shaw drew a walk from Mucci to lead off the inning.
He scored on Quiang Chang's two-out single.
