OL Bronze 218

The race to capture the Bronze OL Crown shows the potential to be hotly contested, as just 4 games separate the top six teams, with the entire half-dozen having a clear path to the top with stellar play. Front running Baltimore slipped to 4-5 in August, while second place SaukCentre posted a 3-3 mark, allowing Eden Prairie, 6-3, to close within a game. Bruno swept their only three games and are 3-1/2 back, tied with Daytona Beach. Those Tortugas, 3-6, and Brooklyn, 5-7, each wilted in the summer heat, but both teams have enough OL games remaining to turn the tide. Acledama, 6-3, also climbed back into the race.
As for the remaining games, Baltimore has only three roadies left, visiting SaukCentre early in September. SaukCentre also travels for three against Aceldama. Eden Prairie has one road contest left with Grovers Mill, before hosting the Invaders for three and finishing their OL schedule at home against Terra Incognita. Daytona Beach battles for sand-based supremacy with six versus Long Beach, three at each shore line. Bruno would seem to have the least trepidatious path with seven of their remaining games against Coney Island, whom they've dominated, winning 10-of-12. The Oblates also host Grovers Mill for four. Their games against the Warriors are, however, all at Coney Island. Acledama, with 12 games left, has nine against Brooklyn, three home, six road, in addition to the three with SaukCentre. The Dynasty has only those nine games with Aceldama.
In PT play, OL seems well positioned to make a mark on the post season and the lowest ranking OL team is six clear of relegation.
