The ability to set lineups and pitching staff has been set to the GM since day 1. The first thing I checked was if that had been reset to the manager (it hadn't).
The issue is that the manager will now change without notice in the middle of a sim (see attached image).
Firing and re-hiring fixed it the first time, so I assumed it was related to his tenure on the team. But then it started again 2 months later. I sim in one-month chunks and sometimes the manager would flip in the middle of the month.
