When setting up your league, if you check the "Import and maintain real minor leagues" and disable the amateur draft then players should automatically be assigned to the correct minor league team the real they made their minor league debut in real life. You don't need to download a separate database. If you don't disable the amateur draft then players will get assigned to the teams based on the draft.
