I'm surprised that anyone was willing to trade for Baker since it was clear Cleveland was going to have to cut him. The opportunity cost for Carolina/Seattle was so low that I figured they would just wait it out and let Cleveland pay his entire 2022 salary and then one of them would scoop him up for basically the minimum.
