We're not owed anything, but I think expecting some kind of update a week after the previous app has been removed from the store is reasonable.
I guess some of us understood that release was imminent once the original app was taken down.
We're all speculating and guessing at this point because there is no update.
The release of the mobile game has always been a stark contrast to the desktop version. For whatever reason it seems there is more current information on Reddit or random tweets and podcasts than on the official forum that's dedicated to the game.
There is no release strategy that will keep everyone happy, but I think having any strategy that's clearly communicated would be an improvement here.
Is there going to be a rolling release like last year, where it's opened up to a few smaller markets first or are they just going for a big bang approach? Is there some big show stopping bug that has been discovered or are they trying to squeeze in another feature or two?
To me, any kind of information is better than silence at this point.
