St. Louis starting pitcher Ming Xiang gave up a two-run home run to Grand Rapids in the fourth inning and to Edwin Palos in the seventh to power the Traders to a 4-2 win at Busch Stadium (2006).
The win was the third straight for Grand Rapids to close the four-game series.
A scoreless game, the Traders' Bruce Herrera led off the top of the fourth with a double.
Shuler followed with his 16th home run of the season.
The River Walkers tied it with single runs off Grand Rapids starter in the fourth and fifth.
It didn't stay tied for long.
Jake Klingenstein doubled off Xiang with one out.
Palos then powered a 1-0 pitch 399 feet over the wall in right field for his 26th homer of the season a 4-2 Grand Rapids' lead.
Traders starting pitcher Rafael Pina went 5.1 innings, allowing two runs on five hits. He struck out four and walked three.
Gabe Hayes finished the fifth for Grand Rapids.
After that, it was shutout out innings from Carlos Sanchez, Matt Ray and Mike Webb to close the game.
Webb earned his 37th save.
