In 1906, the Phillies, keeping the black-and-white color scheme, switched to a different, plain block font. The next year, back to the old look with the serif font that had been used for the previous part of the decade (in three different colors).
1908 rolls around, and they switch back again to the block font. 1909, and back to the serif. What the heck?
