That's the part that confuses me though, is the price of some of the individual cards needed to complete a mission. Maybe I'm missing something here, but humor me for a minute please.

Let's take the "2017" mission for example. You need 60 points to complete the mission, thus receiving a reward of 2 Silver Packs. yet the price on some of the cards are over 6000 PP.

So my question is - why would I pay 6000 PP for 1 card that won't complete the mission, when I could buy 3 silver packs for 6000 PP thereby assuring me of at least 3 silver cards? It just doesn't make sense to me. Unless of course I'm misunderstanding something about PT.

I beg ignorance here, I don't get deep into PT at all, just play 1 team and play my best players to try and win games. When I buy packs each week, if I get a better player, he goes in my lineup and the other is either put in reserve or sold if not part of a mission.
