I like that the rewards system has been pulled back, and many of the mission cards are silver and gold, I.e., more realistic ratings than last year’s everybody is a 100. Combined with the massive improvement in auction house functionality, I’m taking a wait and see attitude on 23 before I declare it a dud, even with the server issues.

I'm fine with them pulling back the ratings on the rewards, just not the number of missions. The rating only means one thing (its quick sell value). It's all about engagement. Give me a reason to play for standard packs for all I care.
Though I never understood everyone's concern with the number on a card... my many unplayable perfects made for many quick 20Ks; I just treated them the same as a Live 100. I'm not going to gripe about having more PP as opposed to less for my effort. I think a lot of that concern is in the intrinsic value we give a "perfect card" as being "perfect."
I concede that the card shop is infinitely better than the AH.
