The Beaverton Board of Commerce will certainly be pleased by the recent mass migration of baseball sim enthusiasts to the Beaverton area. Annalysts have determined the economic benefits in higher tax revenues and increased commerce, will far outweigh the expected spike in minor crimes (public drunkeness, vandalism, etc.)
Unfortunately, this could force a re-zoning of Representitive districts during the upcomming 2010 census.
Hanna-Sherman, one of the giants in the Car Wash industry, are rumored to be considering a move of the corporate offices to the Beaverton area. When asked why, their CEO was heard to comment "Well... the Pacific Northwest is a lovely part of the country... and frankly the place is full of Car Wash lovin' rubes!"
