Exactly. No new missions, just a bunch of random cards requested by last year's tourney winners. Will any of these be useful in future missions, or are they just eye candy and grist for the completionist mill? When will we SEE some new missions, preferably using some of the missionless silver/gold/diamond cards we're holding? Since launch, it's been Negro Leagues and BAL up to gold as the only "connected" series, and the gold cards are nothing more than roster fillers. Forget about Future Legends. The cards are mostly garbage, and the rewards are completely out of line with the investment.
Where are the team missions? I'm sure fans of [insert favorite team] are wondering. Fandom has already taken a hit with replacement of Build a Legend by Build a Lineup, which is nowhere near as team focused.
I just shut down the Thursday stream and walked away after earning my first Twitch drop because I'm sick of hearing the laundry list of tournament winners, followed by the disappointment that no new missions are out, that the new card releases don't help with building a winner, and that there's little point in ripping all the packs that last week's METICULOUSLY DOCUMENTED tourney winners acquired.
This did, of course, allow me to avoid the added frustration of finding the card server overloaded and unresponsive. Cold comfort, indeed. I'm thoroughly bummed...and we're already two months in.
