We're going the distance!
Like this series, Game 6 didn't start off too well for the Rays as they fell behind 2-0 after 2 and
Pablo Lopez had to pitch out of a jam in the 3rd. But the Rays' bats stormed back with
Dominic Scavone's 2-out grand slam in the bottom of the inning put them ahead to stay and
Heston Kjerstad blasted a 2-run shot, his first of the postseason, to give the Rays a very healthy lead and send them to victory. Lopez settled into a groove after his early struggles, and we'll now play a Game 7 tomorrow at the Trop. Joe Ryan will hope to turn things around after a pair of dreadful starts this postseason but we all know the offense will have to come up big.
