That's the direction that I was leaning towards. Since Montreal belongs in the NL, that leaves me with no choice but to put Hartford in the AL. The Mets don't need Hartford as a rival anyway, because they have Philadelphia as a close natural rival, only a 2-hour drive away. Plus it would be more exciting for me to have Hartford competing regularly against the Red Sox and Yankees. Actually, I would likely follow Hartford and watch every regular season game against NYY and BOS. For stadiums, the Yankees would have their brand new stadium, and I would put Hartford in Silvam's version of Yankee Stadium II.
Since I will have current teams, the Washington Nationals will stay in the NL.
I live in the Hartford area, which is why I want Hartford in this version of the MLB.
