Not a problem, jg2977. I just thought it would be rather interesting to have those teams, for instance, in your dynasty or dynasties, that's all. Especially if you like crosstown rivalries and all, you see. Of course, you can always run your solo-play leagues and/or dynasties any way or ways you so choose, you know, if and whenever possible and all, for sure.

What do you think mainly led to the franchise shifts for certain teams to other locations, in your view? Something was definitely lost, I think, when certain teams shifted away from their classic locations, to others. Yes, things were gained, of course, but I still think a lot was probably lost when teams started moving like they did, as well.

Same thing when the DH was instituted, as well. I really don't like the DH, but I still accept that it's been part of baseball for so long, in truth. That would be one of the various historical changes I'd immediately reverse and eliminate, if I possibly could, and I were able to run baseball easily enough in reality.

I would also split off the Expansion-era teams into two new leagues, Federal and Continental Leagues, along with two other teams, with the NL and AL regaining their eight-team configurations, whether they'd return to their classic locations or not, and return to the 154-game schedule length that was in use prior to the Expansion Era's start. Washington would have a team, especially if it was the Senators, and so would Montreal. Not sure whether Chicago would have three teams, or New York and/or New Jersey would have at least four teams, in the new configuration, but I think both those locations/areas could each support at least three teams, if not more, in their areas, easily enough, if everything was set up properly enough.

I'd rather see the Orioles back in St. Louis as the Browns, for instance, but realistically, that's not going to happen any time soon, if ever, of course. St. Louis is now a Cardinals town, although it would have been interesting to see the crosstown rivalry develop into later decades, especially in my own lifetime, in my view. Same thing with the Braves and Red Sox, or Phillies and Athletics, et cetera.

IF the Browns had still been in St. Louis, would Cal Ripken, Jr. and others have brought multiple titles to the Gateway City, especially during the years that other teams won titles in reality, including the Athletics, for instance? As a matter of fact, would Pujols have perhaps played for the Browns instead of the Cardinals, for instance, too? It's something to think about, for sure, as well.

Talk more later, as time permits and all, I'm sure. Lord willing and all, of course, that is. Thank you for your time and attention and all here, as always, jg2977. CD out.
