What teams might qualify by that season for any potential player I'd be proposing, by the usual standards? You don't want the usual starting ratings and all, because he'd ideally have ratings at certain positions, if I remember things correctly and all here, from my files and/or notes related to him? He'd be just out of college, when he'd be starting, it seems to me, so he'd be circa 22 or so years old, for your information.
In fact, I did post his date of birth in your thread, circa post 20, it seems to me. Let me check my files, and I'll send you the needed information privately by the time you finish the 1872 or 1873 seasons, if I can. How much time would it probably take for you to complete those seasons? Please let me know.
As far as what team or teams these players would start on, whenever their proper times come, no matter how many there are in this generation, we'll have to see what teams are currently eligible for them to start on. And once the Freemans' rivals start appearing, we'll want to try to make sure that the two sides don't have members of them actually playing alongside each other, except during All-Star Games, as much as possible, I think. Even if that means we might somehow actually have to lock them to certain IPA teams periodically, of course.
In any case, I don't plan to propose a lot of players for possible inclusion in your IPA in Henry's generation, and their entrances will definitely be staggered. But for your refreshment, here are the dates of birth I have in mind for the only players I currently expect and plan to propose for Henry's generation in your IPA. I don't necessarily have birth locations decided yet for them all, mind you, but I do have at least names and dates of birth at this time. We can extrapolate their potential entry years from them, and/or certain posts in both this thread and your relevant dynasty thread, of course, jg2977. If I don't propose them as being at an age right after their likely high school graduations, then they will likely be either college-aged or just after their likely college graduations, just so you know. I may or may not include middle names at times in their names, which you can include or omit as you like, if and when you add them to your IPA, of course.
It will be up to you here whether you use Henry's middle name when you add him to your league, and any middle names will likely be in parentheses when they are not necessarily needed as part of your players' names, whether for the Freemans or for any other player I may propose later on, no matter what category they may be in here, of five. Those categories being Freeman Family, Freeman Family Allies, Rival Family, Rival Family Allies, or Non-Aligned, in this context. Non-aligned means they can be on any IPA team, even if any player from any of the other four categories is on their team or teams.
Freeman Side:
Henry (Clarence) Freeman: October 26, 1851 (College graduate, University of Missouri-Columbia, Class of 1873, Entry year 1874, FF)
Zebulon Morse: April 21, 1852 (College, School TBD, Class TBD, Entry year TBD, FFA)
Kyle Jordan Walton: February 27, 1854 (Likely College, School TBD, Class TBD, Entry year TBD, FFA)
Jethro Morse: August 20, 1860 (High School or College TBD, School TBD, Class TBD, Entry year TBD, FFA)
Rival Side:
Jedediah Holmes: July 24, 1857 (High School or College TBD, School TBD, Class TBD, Entry year TBD, RF)
Tanner Garber: September 26, 1861 (High School or College TBD, School TBD, Class TBD, Entry year TBD, RF)
Barrett Parverol: February 3, 1864 (High School or College TBD, School TBD, Class TBD, Entry year TBD, RF)
Simon Clairborne: March 28, 1864 (High School or College TBD, School TBD, Class TBD, Entry year TBD, RF)
It is possible by the time that the last two on the rivals' side of things appear that Henry could be well into his career, if not already retired, of course. Especially if they go to college, like Henry will have done, by that time. But we'll have to see. Henry will be from St. Louis, though, at least, although I don't know about the Morses or Walton yet, to be sure. The Morses and Walton likely will each be from St. Louis or somewhere near there, while the rivals' birthplaces, I've not quite worked out yet. But seeing as the first rival we might include here won't have been born before 1857, we still have some time here to figure that out. The earliest the first rival could perhaps appear in your IPA is in 1876, I think, if they come in the year after their likely high school graduation, obviously enough.
I'll try to send you at least one private message as soon as I can, although it may not be until later tonight at the earliest, just so you know. Thank you very much for your time and attention and all, as always. We'll mutually work out the entry teams for whatever players I might propose from a periodically-updated list of eligible teams for each season, if that's all right with you, jg2977. And then go from there as the need or desire arises for us here, of course, for any or all of the players in question here. CD out.
