Game 1: 5-0 W. WP-McClanahan (1-1, 6 3 0 0 3 6). McClanahan became the first Rays starter to win a game this season and Wander had a big game with a 2-run triple and RBI single.

Game 2: 0-3 L. LP-Baz (0-1, 6 4 2 2 1 5). The bats were held to 2 hits by Tanner Houck and 3 Boston relievers.

Transaction: Calvin Faucher was optioned to Durham and Yonny Chirinos recalled to fill in for the injured Luis Patino in the rotation.

Game 3: 0-12 L. LP-Chirinos (0-1, 5.1 7 4 4 2 3). Just a brutal day all around although it was only 1-0 Boston until the 6th when Chirinos ran out of gas and then the bullpen was horrendous.

Game 4: 8-7 W (14). WP-Kittredge (3-0). Starter-Glasnow (5 4 5 2 4 5). HR-Walls (1). Heliot Ramos, who dropped a fly ball that led to 3 unearned runs and then was picked off after getting aboard to lead off in extras, saved his day by doubling in the winning run in the 14th. The Rays trailed most of the game until seldom-used Taylor Walls hit a 3-run blast in bottom of the 8th to tie it up. Walls was on base 5 times with 3 hits and 2 walks and also stole a base.

Team record: 6-5. Next up: Back on the road for 3 in Baltimore.
