The 1st of 2 interleague series vs our in state rivals. I always look forward to playing the Rockies but even more so when they are good and boy are they good right now. After a disastrous 2036 campaign, the Rockies are back to being a top tier NL team. While they still have a ton of injuries this year, they have more depth then they had last season. MGR Tom McCain has said that he plans on retiring soon but I know he wants to win the Battle of Endor before that happens. They cam close in 2035 vs us.
For Wednesdays game we will wear the 2004 Rockies home jersey while they will wear their 2004 Rock City road jersey. On Thursday we will wear our 2019 Delgado Lions home jersey.

New faces:
SP Satchel Paige - I am a huge fan of the clone Satchel Paige but his best days are behind him. He's only 31 though.

SP Hiram Rosado was the Rockies 1st round pick in the 2036 December draft. He has the potential to be their ace but thats a few years away.

SP Norbert Meenan is a strong throwing LHP who playing for the Hitmen last year witha 5.25 ERA 6-8 record. He's just here because of injuries.

RP Harvey Dent is having his best season in 5 years. Two Face might be ugly to look at but he is a leader and players look up to him.

RP Doc Hayani was with ALD last year and played for me in WB. He is a solid SU.

LR Kourtney Parris went from one rival, WB to another in RT. He is a future MLB HOFer but he's just collecting a paycheck at this point.

CL Selina Kyle led the NL in Saves last season. She is among the best CL in the NL.

CF Eugeniu Stefan was great for me last year and was part of the Kennett trade. So far RT has won this trade.

DH Jamie Gutierrez was wonce a great power hitting OF in MLB. He's at the tail end of his career but still has some pop.

Rf Bailey Dhu comes over from playing his entire career with BAL to this point where he went from averaging 32 HR to just 14 last year.

SS Roque Delgado is in his 4th EBL season with RT but has never had more than the 21 AB's he has so far this season. Strong defense, great speed, weak hitter.
