If the teams you're up against have altered their park factors in a way that your team has a tough time handling, that would be an explanation for your road record.

Ballparks can be altered to nerf or boost batting average, home runs, and extra base hits for LHB and RHB. So if you have a team that's pretty decent hitting vs R, but not so hot vs L, and you go into a park where the owner has set it up to nerf the bejeezits out of teams vs LHP, and then throws nothing but LHP, your team will tend to suffer offensively.

Their team and park may boost the offense vs RHP. If you have RHPs going, their lefty batters will feast. If you're also throwing a lefty, then it's a coin flip.

You can only set your park factors on Sunday after you're out of the playoffs, up until the season starts Monday morning. Then they lock in for the week.

The very active managers will set their park up to best favor the cards they have.
