Game 2: 6-2 W. WP-Rasmussen (11-2, 6 4 2 2 1 10). HR-Arozarena (15), J.Bell (5/23). The win made it 8 of 11 for the Rays while we sent the Marlins to their 14th straight defeat.

Team record: 67-62, currently in the second wild card 1/2 game up on Texas and 1 1/2 games up on Seattle. Next up: An off-day then the Yankees come to town for the weekend.

Transactions: For September roster expansion we're activating a long-missed name, Nick Anderson, from his rehab assignment and calling up Abraham Toro, the former Astro whom we acquired from Seattle in the Ji-Man Choi trade earlier this year.
