Even at age 17 (he turns 18 in December), Nagel has the potential to become one of the best pitchers in the league. He will begin the season in AAA, but it is only a matter of time before the A's promote him. He does not get a lot of strikeouts with his top pitches, but hitters rarely get hits off of him. The A's are dying for the opportunity to bring him up to the majors.
