Brad Monroe spent just one season in St. Louis, and it was an impressive one.
Impressive enough to earn him a five-year deal worth $96 million ($19.2M per season) with the Peoria Rivermen.
Monroe had spent his first six seasons with Peoria before being acquired in a trade with the River Walkers before 2038 season.
That season turned out to be the best of his career, as he went 15-6 with a 3.50 ERA in 32 starts for St. Louis.
