Wow. That's a very valid question.
IRL you might not bring in your left handed pinch hitter who crushes right handed pitching if you know that the opponent has their dominant left handed reliever warm in the pen for that exact scenario.
I never even thought of this - but seeing who the opponent is or isn't warming up in the pen absolutely factors into real life strategy. Maybe that's something to consider for a future release.
