When looking for files, usually it is the .dat files (and only those, not everything in the .lg folder). On a PC, the .dats for a league file are here:

C:\Users\NAME\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 23\saved_games\New Game 4.lg

So, in that New Game4.lg folder of mine are about 18 .dat files to zip. Those are the files.
