We made it through spring training unscathed from injuries, so that's always the best result. Dominic Scavone had a big spring, hitting 6 homers and I'm hoping for big things from his this year.
As he was out of options and we needed to make a cut from the staff, we dealt Levi Kelly to the Rockies for OF Yanqui Fernandez. He's 25 and coming off a monster year at high-A, where admittedly he was old for the level, and he did struggle at AA. But he has serious power and could be a bit of a lottery ticket:
