ACADIANS TIED WITH NEW TEAMS MERAUX AND ANDERSON FOR SUPREME LEAGUE LEAD
The new guys in town are making big waves so far in the South Island Supreme League after the first two weekends of action... the Meraux Tigers and Anderson Ravens have prospered with 2 straight victories... they are tied with the Bar Harbor Acadians for first place... the Tigers have wins over Zebulon and Kofa, while the Ravens have beaten last year title winner Mystic and Delta... the Acadians have whipped two lesser lights St. Luke's Place and Zebulon.

In this weekend's results Meraux spanked the Kofa Kings 7-2... Anderson prevailed over the Delta Stars 4-1... Bar Harbor blanked the Zebulon Zips 4-0... the Mystic Mariners righted the ship this week with an 8-7 triumph over the Moon Valley Dreams... St. Pete clipped the St. Dominic Saints 5-3... and St. Luke's Place jolted the Jackson Jackalopes 8-5.
