Yeah, whatever you're seeing I'm betting it's the game. But I just can't see anything funky in that screenshot. I see some lighter patches by the player's neck but those look like it's the difference between the shadow of the player's head and the light.

As of now there's no way of loading a texture layer in. Any images you upload get dropped on top of the visible texture to make it easier to generate the diffuse and height maps. it's actually multiple HTML canvas elements overlaying each other - think layers and groups in Photoshop.
But I'll be glad to get more elements and textures in there - I just found the template you posted so getting those in should be a breeze. And you can always just email stuff to me at eriqjaffe at gmail dot com and I can add them. The downside of the desktop app, of course, is that users will need to keep it up-to-date to get everything.
