The announcers are all nonchalant like: "Oh, it caught the corner," and I'm thinking: "What did I just see?" 
Now I'm not trying to say the M's lost due to a bad call. If their fielding had been good in the middle innings the call in the 7th wouldn't have mattered. But it wasn't and it did. |
Welcome to watching the Mariners, nobody in MLB wants a team from this remote place in the wet and cold boonies. Only somebody as amazing as Ken Griffey Jr can get us some respect from the league and the umps.
