I did come across this quote that suggests there may be both 10 and 15 day lists in use after the end of April:

"There will be no limit in April for how many pitchers teams can carry. Typically, teams are limited to 13.

Additionally, pitchers and two-way players will be eligible for placement on the 10-day injured list through May 1. Starting May 2, those players will only be eligible for the 15-day IL. Position players will still be eligible for the 10-day IL."

If correct this would mean 10-day throughout the season for position players, but for pitchers (and 2-way players) it's 10-day to start and 15-day from May 1st until end.

The MLBPA doesn't have the pdf of the latest CBA online yet, so I couldn't verify from source.
Ah gotcha, thanks! Seems like default shouldn't be 15 for all but it does seem up in the air in real life and it's an easy change, so it's all good.
