I turned off 3D/Facegen to open starter packs faster. I don't remember being able to open them this way in prior versions, but if you rapidly click the pack icon in the top right, you can open several packs in a row before the dialogue box appears. You can open so many packs, in fact, that you open more packs than you actually have. I didn't really realize it was happening but I ran my pack balance to -18 (18 less than 0) doing this yesterday. Newly bought/won packs backfill this negative until you get to 0, then packs appear again. Then you can run it negative again.
