Controlling the minor league team in 2D was originally on the list for this update, but after the first couple of days of planning it became apparent that the scope of the required changes was a lot bigger than we expected. It's doable, but doing it now would've eaten too much of the time we had available, and would've carried a high risk of having unintended consequences that we then would've had to deal with, on top of the original work. So it was pushed back to FHM9, when we can do it in tandem with other major engine changes and have enough testing time to work out any unexpected issues properly. Different hit mechanics in 2D are also on the board for FHM9.

The change we made to reduce the scoring levels of top players in 2D will also have an effect on the primary cause of high scoring when making decisions (although high scorfing can certainly still can occur if the decisions being made promote aggressive offence.)
