• Only trying a little harder, going from 1B to 2B; meaning, he wasn't hustling to begin with.
• He didn't seem to be watching the play or knowing where the ball was, because
• He got thrown out by a ridiculous margin, looking even more ridiculous when he could not slide; I mean "could not" because he sort of stumbled, crouched, and shuffled into the tag like an old man.

Seriously, viewing just that one play has me wondering about his athleticism.

Cards have the two slowest runners in MLB, in Pujols and Molina. If you add their double plays together, and divide by two, then you get the 1st and 2nd all time in GIDP.
