I would suggest targeting another ace quality pitcher if your really looking for the series. While going with an abundance of offense can usually get you in the playoffs and then can hope for the crapshoot to fall your way, the teams with the best pitching usually seem to go the deepest in the playoffs (there are always exceptions).

But as Skipaway said, if your in, your in and I wouldn't go too wild thinking one position player is going to make the differance in the end. Id take a close look at the other probable playoff teams and see if there is a general weakness among them and then get players to exploit those weaknesses, lots of righty pitchers who struggle vs lefty bats, lots of lefty pitchers who struggle vs. righty bats, lefthanded batter dominated lineups, righthanded batter dominated lineups are some, then try to set up your team to exploit them. If you don't see a glaring weakness among them you can make a move to exploit, i'd concentrate on improving my top 4 starting pitchers.
