OOTP doesn't really model financials in any sort of accurate or complex way, it's just the same financial model with bugs and overly simplistic nature for at least a decade basically. finances are something, like AI team-building, player development, scouting, coaching, etc that just basically doesn't get touched year to year now that they work on Perfect Team
