The Dodgers recovered from losing the tiebreak game with San Diego four days ago to making it to the Wild Card Game and vanquishing the Padres to advance to the NLDS. It was a wild wild card game with the Padres coming all the way back from 5-1 down to tie it at 6 in the 7th before Max Muncy won it for the Dodgers with a 3-run homer off Emerson Hancock in the 9th.
