This was a 0-0 game at that point and Halifax scored 5 runs thereafter. Singer Gregg Allman started for Halifax but left after 1 2/3 innings. Wills, Powell and Hecheverria had 2 RBI's each for Halifax in the win. Cal McVey and Freddie Patek had the lone Paris hits.

Ron Meredith looked good with 2 scoreless relief innings for the Swingers. Robertson drove in 5 runs while McGuire and Adeiny Hecheverria had 3 hit games for Halifax. Baker hit a pinch hit 2 run homer off the bench.
