Okay, that would take AG to the end of 1979 if he played all the way through, when he'd be 42. GC would be 46 then, in your version of the IPA. I don't think GC can last that long. But if we have to adjust his ratings periodically in order to make as sure as we can that he's still playing when this extension of AG's would finish out, then we just might have to consider the possibility of doing so, of course.

IF there is anything else I would like to see GC do, at the minimum, if possible, I'd like to see him get to at least 400 wins and 5000 strikeouts, even if he has to perhaps be a part-time reliever long enough to reach those statistical levels in his career. There has to be a way to somehow actually get him at least 17 more wins and 93 strikeouts, right?

On the hitting side, I'd like to see GC get to 3000 runs scored, with 900 home runs and 2500 runs batted in, as well, if possible. However, with how he is in his career now, those statistical levels may be hard to get to here, I think. Especially if you tinker with things in your league to be much more realistic, statistics-wise and all.

AG, if he plays out this next year and the three-year extension he has just signed, will likely get at least another 500-700 runs scored, 500-700 hits, another 70-some doubles, another 20-some triples, another 100-150 home runs, another 200-400 RBIs, and another 80-100 stolen bases, I think. Depending on just how you might perhaps adjust things in your league between now and 1979, that is, of course, if you do.

Of course, these predictions/hopes for both Freemans are mainly based on how things are now for your IPA. IF you change things significantly enough in it, though, certain statistical levels may not be achievable, after all, for either of them, if not both of them.

But in any case, I do want AG's last year to be GC's last year, if possible, somehow, even if we have to tinker a bit here with GC, at least, here, for sure. And I definitely want GC to pitch at least a few times with AG as his catcher, as well, in any case.

Thank you for including them both in your IPA, for sure, for so long, jg2977. It has been rather interesting to see them playing in it, although they spent most of their careers playing on different teams in it, you know. Which also makes me wonder how they might have fared against each other on the field, if they ever played against each other with GC on the mound and AG at the plate during the All-Star Games they each have gotten to in their careers. Between them both, if they've ever faced each other on the field, either as hitters or as pitchers, who holds the overall head-to-head advantage over the other one? I'm just curious, because if they've both been in the same All-Star Games, they must have both faced each other at least once in their careers, you know.

Talk more later as time permits and all, I'm sure, jg2977. Lord willing and all, of course, that is. CD out.
