I just started playing and I was surprised after 1974-75 historical season to see many real-life star players finishing the season within 3% of their real-life points totals that year. All run by AI teams so I had no input.
That's uncannily accurate for a simulation.
I'm interested to know how much variance there typically is though. Is it typical that the player points totals so accurately follow the real life statistics - and I also wonder how this is accomplished in the game, if it really is only based on adjusting player ability and not on any 'hard caps' or target values for points.
