Analysis
As we approach the last six weeks of the season, there are sure signs of a few teams that look to be in the playoffs this season, and some that are just playing out the schedule. In the middle? A whole lot of irradiated muck!
Nordhagen Beach (#1) remains the top seed and is starting to look a lot like the 2299 Diamond City club. The Party Boys went 4-1 on the week with a sweep at Institute League-leader Abernathy (#14, down from #8 after a 1-4 week) and a series win over Salem (#10). Those series gave the Boys a 14-game lead in the Brotherhood League over the Witch Hats and a 15-game lead over the Adamantium. Nordhagen Beach's Magic # is now just 17 for clinching the #1 overall seed in the NCA.
University Point clawed its way to the #2 spot by going 4-1 on the week. The Deathclaws swept FHE (#6) and then won 2 of 3 versus Goodneighbor (#12) to keep the two teams fighting for the 5th spot in the SCA tied. The Claws also assume a six-game lead in the Minutemen League and a four-game lead for the top spot in the SCA.
Vault 81 (#3) drops a spot this week after a 3-2 week. They started right by sweeping Warwick (#24) but then lost 2 of 3 at Diamond City (#5). The Swatters also went 3-2 on the week to remain three back in the Railroad League. Still, their 16-0 win on Saturday was a definite morale boost in the battle for the RL. The Swatters also split with Jamaica Plain (#15) in the midweek.
The Atom Cats are the #4 team after going 3-2. They split with a recently hot team in Egret (#13) and then won 2 of 3 against the Mirelurks, only dropping the Sunday game, 1-0.
The NCA playoff race is still wild (see current playoff standings below) with four teams within a game of the #4 and #5 spots. Fort Hagen (#11) currently holds the fourth spot thanks to a 6-3 season series record against Concord (#8) and a 5-4 record against Starlight (#9).
The Radstags hold the 5th spot over the Lady Killers thanks to an 8-1 season series record, clinching already that season series. County Crossing (#7) is just one game behind of all three IL teams above. Along with Starlight, the Bloodbugs have been the hottest team in the NCA over the last two weeks with a 7-3 record. Only Vault 81 (8-2 in their last 10) has been hotter in the CBO.

Players of the Week
Beetlejuice on Fire, Named Player of the Week: So far in his young career, Dave Beetlejuice has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the North League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts.
The 19-year-old Lynn Woods Bloatflies shortstop hit at a torrid .700 clip as he collected 7 hits in 10 at-bats, 1 home run, 3 RBIs and 4 runs scored.

Minnick rocked opposing pitching for a .429 average (6-for-14), 2 home runs and 4 RBIs to come away with the award.
