There are programs like the Remini app to sharpen a photo before you make a facegen but unblurring or adding detail to an fg file that is already saved isn't practical. If an fg file you open to edit is "blurry" it may be best to start from scratch. Editing is still possible for recoloring, facial realigning, and all sorts of tweaks but adding detail isn't practical (but taking detail away is).
